The newest stallion at Pennwoods!

"Daniel", a true stockman's horse, is a tall, huge footed, long necked, drafty horse and we are excited to have him here at Pennwoods. He has been the senior herd sire at Rose Hill Percherons (Gord and Shannon Ruzicka) for many years. Daniel is out of Gordy's foundation mare, "one Hell of a mare", as he says.

Due to navel ill as a foal, he could not be shown, but he has all the qualities everyone is looking for to better the breed. Daniel should make a good cross with the King and Granduer Lyn daughters. His time in the US could be limited, then he has to go back to Alberta, Canada. Folks should take advantage of this opportunity. Look toward Central PA and experience the wild, wild West.
